Kim Auernheimer is a respected automotive industry leader, trainer, and speaker with nearly two decades of experience helping independent repair shops build stronger, more profitable businesses.
Kim was the Owner and CEO of CS Automotive, a highly regarded independent automotive repair company with locations in Brentwood and Monteagle, Tennessee. After relocating from California's Central Valley to Tennessee in 2005, Kim and her family quickly established deep roots in their new community. In October 2006, she and her husband, Rob, founded CS Automotive and successfully grew it into an award-winning operation known for exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to employee development. In April 2026, after nearly 20 years of ownership, Kim and Rob sold CS Automotive to pursue new opportunities within the automotive industry.
Today, Kim serves as the Program Director for Transformers Institute, a leading coaching and training organization dedicated to helping independent automotive repair shop owners improve profitability, leadership, operations, and business performance. She also serves as a Business Trainer for Worldpac Training Institute (WTI), where she educates and empowers shop owners, managers, service advisors, and industry professionals through training focused on leadership, organizational effectiveness, customer experience, business systems, and operational excellence.
A firm believer in continuous education, Kim actively pursues learning opportunities and encourages others to do the same. She is passionate about elevating the reputation of the automotive repair industry and works alongside shop owners and industry leaders to improve the customer experience through trust, transparency, and operational excellence.
Kim's dedication to the industry was recognized in 2020 when she was named Women in Auto Care's Female Shop Owner of the Year. This prestigious award honors female shop owners who have made a significant impact on the automotive aftermarket through leadership, mentorship, and service. Kim was selected for her commitment to helping fellow shop owners succeed and for her passion for developing future industry leaders.
Kim is a sought-after speaker, trainer, and mentor, frequently sharing her expertise on leadership, organizational effectiveness, business systems, customer experience, team development, and operational excellence.
Kim and Rob are proud parents of their son, Jacob, and daughter-in-law, Nicole, as well as their daughter, Ema. In November 2024, they were thrilled to welcome their granddaughter, Campbell, who quickly became the center of their world. Family, faith, service, and helping others succeed remain at the heart of everything Kim does.
